This is a white cake with buttercream icing.  The cake was made to match the wedding shower napkins.  Funny story:  this cake stressed me out.  Actually all cakes stress me out until the moment the box is handed over.  BUT...I have never had a cake with flowers on it before.  This was the first time anyone has asked for it.  The last time I EVER made flowers out of icing...I was about 8 years old.  Yes, 8 years old.  When my gradmother would make wedding cakes, I would "help" her out.

I also made cookies for this shower.  Initial, Tuxedo, and wedding dress cookies.

Death by Chocolate...

Not really ...but doesn't this look divine?

Chocolate Cake with chocolate buttercream...with chocolate ganache...and dark chocolate covered strawberries.

This is a mini-replica of a groom's cake.  The groom never had a piece of his groom's cake at this own wedding.  And of course he has reminded his wife of this for years.  For their anniversary, she ordered this to surprise him.  Happy Anniversary Brandon and Kim!

Days later...I had an order for cupcakes:  yellow cake with chocolate buttercream with chocolate ganache filling.

OKC Thunder Baby Shower

This was my 2nd Oklahoma City Thunder baby shower...so I wanted to think of some new cookies.  It was also my first Thunder baby shower cake.

I had Rumble with a pacifier this time.

I also made OKC thunder logo cookie pops for party favors.  It took me over 8 hours just to do 12 of these cookies pops.  Again, I do not have a projector.  These are all hand-drawn.

And this is the baby shower cake I made.  It is strawberry lemonade with buttercream icing.

More Logo Cookies

I made these Logo cookies for an area OKC business.  I do not have a tracer machine, so these are all hand drawn.

Lingerie Shower

These Lingerie Shower cookies were so fun to do!  Unfortunately my camera battery died and this is the only picture I have.   Corsets, bras, panties, and other lingerie!  So fun!

Easter Cookies

Last year I was overwhelmed with Easter orders...this year it was much slower.  But, it was a nice needed break.

Birthday cookies!

I have been doing lots of birthday cookies here lately.   Here a few:

1.  Parisian themed 30th birthday!  I love the poodles.

2.  Little Mermaid!

3.  Paint your Art Out Party!

4.  Dora the Explorer!
These 3 cookies were made to go with the Dora cookies.
They were made with buttercream, unlike Dora that is royal icing.
The large circle was for the candle (they did not have cake at this party).
